Since 2018 we handcraft minimalistic leather products with traditional production methods. Our products result from mixing the classic minimalistic german design language with modern organic geometric forms.
We make all products with premium materials, mostly from local suppliers from Barcelona.

We only use the best materials we can find to match our requirements. The leather selection we are using:

- Tannery from Barcelona (Igualada)
- Vachetta | Calf | Novillo | Cow leather
Wherever possible, we use solid brass applications for our products.

Atelier Madre was founded by Manuel Dreesmann as a small and independent atelier for leather accessories. His work field is located at the intersection of interdisciplinary Design and Marketing. This broad approach enables him to shape the complete value chain towards customers.
The award-winning design language of Manuel Dreesmann keeps a balance between a distinctively minimalistic form follows function approach and architectural cutting edge organic forms.
In 2021 he opened the first store shop in the heart of Barcelona in El Born. Since then Atelier Madre has become a must visit for clients from all over the world.
